Before The Wedding

  • HOW DO WE SECURE FOR YOUR SERVICES?

With a signed contract and non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total package price, the date will be booked exclusively for you. We do not confirm bookings verbally.

 

  • WHAT IS YOUR PACKAGES?

The Exclusive Package will be assigned to Terence Tan. The Standard Package will be assigned to our in house qualified photographer.

 

  • HOW SOON DO WE HAVE TO MAKE FULL PAYMENT?

Full payment will be required on the day of your wedding. However, in any unforeseen circumstances the payments were delayed, editing of your pictures will only commence upon full payment. Therefore, the speed of delivery will depend on it.

 

  • WHAT IS THE PROCESS AFTER WE HAVE SECURED YOUR SERVICES?

One (1) month before your wedding, it is advisable that we meet to sort out the necessities as well as the itinerary of the day’s activities. Please also provide us with any important information that may assist on our coverage.

 

  • DO YOU DO OVERSEAS SHOOT AS WELL?

Yes, in fact 20% of our shoots are done outside Malaysia. However, there will be other expenses incurred for an overseas assignment ie return flight economy airfares, accommodation, food and transportation.

 

  • ARE YOUR PRICES NEGOTIABLE?

Our packages are all transparent and is the same for every customer. We believe that we provide great value in the quality of our services and the images we produce.

 

  • DO YOU HAVE GOWNS I ATTIRES FOR RENT?

We do not provide gowns for rent. However, we have contacts from Bridal companies should you require them.

During The Wedding

  • WHAT DOES THE 10 HOUR COVERAGE MEAN?

The hours of coverage begins from the moment we begin our shoot. Should there be any breaks in between, it will not be counted towards the coverage time.

 

  • IF WE HAVE USED UP THE 10 HOURS, HOW LONG CAN YOU STAY AT THE RECEPTION?

From our experience, 10 hours of shooting is more than enough to cover the entire wedding day. In any other circumstances any additional coverage is billed hourly at a reasonable price. However, no return of deposits I discounts will be given for shoots less than 10 hours.

 

  • WHAT DO YOU NORMALLY COVER IN THE 10 HOURS?

We start our shoot when the bride and groom are getting ready. We also cover the gowns, rings and decorations as well. Family and friends portraiture will also be covered. In fact, any items that are bought for your wedding will be covered by us so that nothing is missed out. Just remember to inform us.

 

  • IS THERE A PORTRAIT SESSION ON THE ACTUAL WEDDING  DAY?

Yes, we do portrait sessions whenever it is possible. We advise our customers to allocate at least one (1) hour for the session, if time permits. This however differs for each wedding depending on your schedule and itinerary.

 

  • DO YOU PROVIDE SLIDESHOWS  FOR THE WEDDING  RECEPTION?

Yes. However, it depends heavily on the closure time of your wedding morning session.We require at least a minimum of four (4) hours before the wedding reception to complete your slideshow presentation. A selection of 70 – 90 images taken on your wedding day morning will be shown during the banquet. We will also provide you with the slideshow song unless stated and provided by you, seven (7) days before your wedding day.

 

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU FALL SICK OR HAVE AN EMERGENCY ON MY WEDDING  DAY?

A full refund will be given at any such event. If it is agreeable, we will try to find a replacement photographer to stand in. However this has yet to happen.

After The Wedding

  • HOW SOON CAN WE HAVE THE FINISHED PRODUCT?

Your pictures will be ready in twenty one (21) working days after your wedding day I full payment received.

 

  • HOW IS THE EDITING DONE?

We will only do cropping, lighting adjustments, colour balancing I enhancements and re-arrangement of timeline. Major editing will only be done on close-up portraiture couple shoot.

 

  • WHO OWNS THE PHOTOGRAPHS?

Terence Tan Photography retains the copyright of all photos created. Clients may have the photos for personal and non-commercial use only.

 

  • HOW MANY PHOTOS DO I GET IN HIGH RESOLUTION?

All useable images will be returned to you. The images are all delivered and packaged in a thumb drive specially designed for all our clients. At least 800-1000 of high resolution simple edited images will be included.

 

  • WHY DOES THE IMAGES LOOK PIXELATED ON MY COMPUTER / TV?

All our edited images were done on a high definition panel ie iMac and Macbook Pro. There are instances where lower definition monitors or panels would not be able to display the actual 4K definition images. Therefore, the images will look pixelated. However, the completed final product would be close to the printing colour.

 

  • WILL THERE BE ANY WEDDING ALBUMS  INCLUDED?

We do not provide wedding albums in our packages. However, we would be happy to provide additional services should you require one. Album types, designs and sizes may vary. Therefore, you are advised to make an appointment with Terence Tan Photography to discuss on the albums. Rates and album charges vary depending on the quality and make of each album and design.
